We designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned a 384 Kwh solar energy storage system with 81 Kwp PV modules for Malawi Blood Transfusion Services. This system serves as the primary power source, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of critical equipment and the safe storage of blood products.
The reliable energy supply enhances the reliability and efficiency of blood transfusion services, supports the preservation of blood at optimal temperatures, and ensures continuous availability of blood for transfusions across Malawi, thereby significantly improving patient outcomes and the overall healthcare system.
