
We designed, supplied, installed and commissioned a 308KwH Lithium battery capacity storage facility, which runs on Hybrid Solar system for DCCM. DCCM, a government department received funding from United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for the hybrid installation of Solar system at its head office in Blantyre, Malawi.
AUnder UNDP Malawi, through its M-climes project funded DCCM in Blantyre to ESS. The hybrid system, which is one of its kind in Malawi is now providing a steady supply of clean energy to the offices which houses the nerve center for all weather stations in Malawi; including crucial weather servers and Television weather studio.
The hybrid system provide power to the department equipment in monitoring and predicting weather and climate changes. This allows an uninterrupted power source for the management of meteorological data, engineering and research services and Information Technology (IT) development which are paramount to the efficiency of the department in providing timely and accurate information
